Shad Head Jigs
Shad head jigs, with their streamlined shape, cut through water easily even when against strong currents. The staggered barbs securely hold plastic shad bodies and other thick plastic bodies.
On this range of jigs we use either Mustad Aberdeen chemically sharp black nickel hooks or Mustad heavy duty forged hooks.
Our unique molding process using the Mustad Aberdeen hooks creates a jig head with a longer shank hook than that available on most other jigs. This longer shank allows for the hook point to be positioned further back in the plastics body giving a better hook-up rate with less short strikes.
