Spinnerbait convert and Tamworth Fishing Tackle customer, David Mathews, forwarded us in this great pic of a nice 44lb cod out of the Daring River. This was the first time David had used a purple QuadSpin in the Darling and along with this fish also landed a 24lb and 12lb cod the same session.

Since the recent release of our latest lure, the WiggleSpin, we've been getting good reports on cod and yellowbelly with this lure. Dean from Tamworth Fishing Tackle (02 6766 7100) emailed thru this great pic of mate, Nigel Constable, with a 880cm, 30lb plus fish ready for release. This fish woofed down a 3/4oz Purple Blue Flash Colorado WiggleSpin on Nigel's first cast for the night in the Peel River, near Tamworth.

Great Snapper on AusSpin's Swingin' Jig Heads

Saturday, 23rd September 2006

Some very nice snapper have been taken over the past winter months on our Swingin' Jig Heads rigged with the various 'stick' baits or Jerk Shads now on the market. Thanks goes to South West Rocks regular Vic Levett for this pic of his 10kg snapper from down near Black Rock. Vic was using a 1/4oz Swingin Hop 3/0 jig head on light threadline gear. Great fish and nice jesture to release this beauty as well!

Saratoga on the chew in The Top End

Thursday, 27th July 2006

With the late wet season this year in the Northern Territory, much of the dry season wetlands and flood plain fishing has changed to previous years. Territorian guide, Chris Jones of River and Reef Fishing Charters (www.riverandreef.com.au) has been having great success on AusSpin's Big Native range of spinnerbaits out at Corroboree Billabong on the Mary River. Chris says as there are not many of the huge waterlillies normally found at places like Corroboree Billabong, the saratoga and barra are hanging deep in the weeds. He has been getting his clients onto using AusSpin spinnerbaits and they have been working a treat.
