WiggleSpin Cod action in Tamworth area
Thursday, 14th June 2007
Once again, thanks goes to Dean at Tamworth Fishing Tackle (02 6766 7100) for this great pic of a 960mm cod taken by mate, Nigel Constable.
The recent rains didn't deter the boys and must have turned on the fish as well.
The boys spun up nine fish in the session on the proven WiggleSpin 3/4oz Colorado blade in purple/blue flash skirt.

Thanks to regular AusSpin Lures user Adam Bosley for sending us this great pic of a 54cm yellowbelly he recently caught.
Adam uses our black and gold TwinSpin spinnerbaits with great success.
Cheers Mate!
Mitch takes out Junior angler at Mulwala Classic
Tuesday, 22nd May 2007
Congratulations to Mitch Sibraa on a nice cod ready for release taken during the recent Mulwala Mercury 4-stroke Classic.
Mitch was having a hard time dealing with the excess of weed at the time. He wisely decided to add another skirt to his AusSpin purple 3/8oz UltraSpin Double Colorado spinnerbait which seemed to help with the weed problem. This fish slammed the lure in about 12" of water. Mitch had a great weekend catching several more cod and going on the take out the Junior Champion award.
Chatterbaits turning on the Clarence Bass
Sunday, 14th January 2007
Received this great pic from Leigh Shevill of his PB bass of 53.5cm taken on a Chatterbait lure. After a five day trip into the Clarence River Gorge area, Leigh caught 95% of his bass on the Chatterbaits. Being able to fish them in the fast flowing water, better than any other lure, was the secret to his success.
Chatterbaits Working well
Thursday, 4th January 2007
Freshwater Fishing magazine writer, Ashley Barber, sent us in a couple of pics recently. The first one was of his mate with a great yellowbelly from the Ovens River near Albury. This fish jumped all over the Purple Predator Chatterbait being fished hard against the snags.
